B.R.A.V.O.

The mission of BRAVO is to bring our school and communities together to benefit every child in the school district.

This means seeking out avenues of revenue that will help support EVERY level of the educational system.

Our first priority is to help in the self-funding of extra-curricular activities, approximately $78,000, for the 2003-2004 school year.

Our first goal fo raising enough money to cover the costs for the fall sports has already been met, due to the generosity of both the Farmer City State Bank and Peoples State Bank, as well as many other local businesses, organizations and individuals. We want to thank EVERYONE for their part in making the fforts of this committee successful.

What's been going on this summer:

Upcoming events

8/4/03 - Plans have been laid to create a 3 minute video for a promotion sponsored by the TV show The View and Quilted Northern Bathroom Tissue. Working on the project are Jerry Hawn, Sandie Maxwell, Liz Roseman & Brent Cordes.

7/24/03 - There is currently $59,000 in BRAVO & Foundation accounts that have been raised so far. We have $20,000 invested in candy bars. When all of those receipts are in, we will have surpassed the primary fundraising goal. Other ideas discussed activating more volunteers to candy at the LeRoy Fall Festival, setting up a fundraiser at the Farmer City Scarecrow Festival and possibly setting up a Haunted House.

7/14/03 - The Benefit Auction/Dinner/Dance was a huge success. Two months of very hard work paid off with a $9,500 pay day for BRAVO. Special thanks to Jill Franklin, Chris Risler & Gary Risler for all of their hard work on this project.
